GENTLE YOGA

Gentle Yoga

In a gentle yoga class, the pace is typically slower, and the poses are often modified to be more accessible, making it suitable for individuals of various fitness levels, including beginners, seniors, and those with physical limitations. The focus is on gentle stretching, basic poses, breath awareness, and relaxation techniques. Props such as blankets, blocks, and straps may be used to support the body in poses, enhancing comfort and stability. Gentle yoga classes aim to promote flexibility, balance, and relaxation while fostering a sense of well-being and tranquility.

Gentle Vinyasa

Gentle vinyasa classes typically feature slower-paced and nurturing vinyasa-style yoga, emphasizing gentle stretching, breath awareness, and relaxation. This approach makes it suitable for beginners, individuals with physical limitations, or those seeking a more relaxed and accessible yoga experience.

RESTORATIVE

YIN Restore

A yin and restorative yoga class combines gentle, passive stretches with deeply relaxing postures, often using props for support. It's particularly beneficial for beginners, individuals with physical limitations, and those seeking relaxation, as it promotes deep release, flexibility, and a sense of calm and well-being. This class closes with a sound meditation using the seven chakra crystal bowls.

Ashtanga - Full Primary

The Ashtanga full primary series is a traditional vinyasa practice. It consists of dynamic yoga postures that are synchronized with the breath. This practice is most suitable for students who have been practicing this style of yoga for many years and are seeking to build heat in the body, develop their technique and focus and stay connected to a lineage in their healing journey.

Slow Flow

A slow flow class is a type of yoga practice that combines the meditative aspects of traditional yoga with a slower-paced sequence of postures. In a slow flow class, the focus is on mindful movement, breath awareness, and the opportunity to hold poses for longer periods, allowing practitioners to deepen their connection to both the physical and mental aspects of the practice. Slow flow classes often incorporate elements of Vinyasa or Hatha yoga, and while the pace is slower compared to a typical Vinyasa class, it still offers an effective way to build strength, flexibility, and balance while promoting relaxation and stress reduction.
